The smash hit musical, Waitress, comes to Leeds next week. With a score by Sara Bareilles and brought to life by a female-led creative team, this fab musical is sure to bring the house down.
It’s been described as ‘warm, witty, wise and hilarious’ by the Express and I’m sure it’s going to be amazing.
The show follows Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker, whose life gets complicated when a hot new doctor arrives in town. With the support of her workmates Becky and Dawn, Jenna overcomes the challenges she faces and finds that laughter, love, and friendship can provide the perfect recipe for happiness.
Lucie Jones (Waitress, Les Misérables, Legally Blonde) stars as Jenna, with Sandra Marvin (Waitress, ITV’s Emmerdale, Hairspray) playing Becky, Evelyn Hoskins (Waitress, Spring Awakening) as Dawn and Matt Willis (Busted, A Christmas Carol, Wicked) as Dr Pomatter.
Don’t miss Waitress when it comes to Leeds Grand Theatre from Tuesday 14th to Saturday 18th September.
