Want to see a B*Witched star live on stage?

The Snow Queen is a classic Hans Christian Anderson tale, perhaps best known these days for inspiring the hit film Frozen.

Now, a brand new musical adaptation of the book is coming to Victoria Theatre, Halifax. This production is likely to be a bit more true to the classic fairy-tale. When Kai is abducted to an enchanted frozen palace, his best friend Gerda sets out to rescue him… but will she reach the Snow Queen before it’s too late?

The show has been written by Robert Marsden, who’s a familiar face around the Victoria Theatre having directed the annual panto for the past ten years!

B*Witched singer Edele Lynch will star as the Snow Queen, but will also play the Grandmother and Robber Lady – a big undertaking! I love B*Witched and really hope Edele Lunch is as fantastic in this role as she is in the band.

Producer Anton Benson said “Audiences can expect a magical re-imagining of this classic Hans Christian Andersen story, filled with infectious melodies, intriguing illusions and a sprinkling of puppetry, all brought to life by an ensemble of actor-musicians.”

Catch the show on Sunday 27th October at 2pm and 5pm.
