If you’re a fan of BBC’s antiques expert David Harper, then keep an eye out for his Unexpected Tales Tour. David and his colourful trousers will be hitting the road with his one-man theatre show which treats audiences to all the funny behind the scenes gossip.
Who doesn’t want to know all the goss from Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip? The show promises to explain David’s entertaining encounters with famous faces and, because the show’s unscripted, it’s an entirely authentic and unique experience for each individual audience.
David Harper said: “You cannot believe what goes on in the world of art, antiques and in the making of television shows. You will not be expecting what you will hear.
It is an interactive show and I never know where each story is going to go…or how far it will go. I have some ideas of what I want to talk about, but I often throw the topics open to the audience. It’s real seat of your pants stuff.”
Stories such as charity events David gets invited to (he once sold dinner with Sir Alex Ferguson for the cost of an average house!) proved extremely popular in the past and that had spurred him on to develop Unexpected Tales.
Catch David Harper’s show at Square Chapel Arts Centre on Sunday 15th September.
