I last saw The Simon & Garfunkel Story about three or four years ago, and loved it.
Before seeing the show I had no idea who Simon or Garfunkel were, and after watching the musical I listened to them consistently for weeks. They’re the most successful Folk/Rock duo famous for songs including The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson, Scarborough Fair, Bridge Over Troubled Water and many more.
Now, The Simon and Garfunkel Story is returning to St George’s Hall, Bradford, on Tuesday 16th July 2019. The show’s been seen by over a quarter of a million people all over the world – telling the story of two young boys from Queens, New York, who went on to become the world’s most successful music duo of all time.
The show includes projected visuals, original film footage and a full live band. It might not be the most spectacular show on the planet, but for a pleasant evening out it’s definitely worth going along to.
