Okay, this blog isn’t about theatre. But it’s about something very important, so I hope you’ll read it.
Homeless charity St George’s Crypt are raising money for a new Independent Living scheme, a housing development purpose-built to help those without a home recover and regain their independence. It’s a great cause and, with your help, this time next year hopefully new tenants will be settling into their new home.
If you feel as passionately as I do that everyone deserves the chance to grow and move forwards, with a safe space to go to and a roof over their head, then please donate via https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/christmasseen or text STGC19 £5 to 70070.
I had the pleasure of interviewing staff members and volunteers at the Crypt – seeing the work they do and the difference they make is genuinely really heartwarming and they’ll be able to really change lives with the new development.
To see our final video and read more about the scheme, visit https://www.dsemotion.com/blog/christmas-seen.
For the price of a small Christmas gift or even a pack of Christmas cards, you could help the Crypt get one brick closer to laying some very important foundations.
