Kiss Me Kate Singalong

Opera North is giving adults of all ages and abilities chance to take part in a fun workshop entitled Come and Sing Kiss Me, Kate.

You might not know the classics by title, but trust me there are some lovely tunes and workshop attendees will have a great time. The workshop is being held from 11am to 3pm on Friday 25 May in the Howard Assembly Room. During the morning session, Matt Roughley, Opera North Education’s Vocal Delivery Artist, will help everyone to master a selection of Cole Porter’s catchiest tunes before being joined in the afternoon by Oliver Rundell, Opera North’s Chorus Master, together with the full Chorus of Opera North and a couple of very special guests. Definitely not to be missed! The workshop costs £15 per person. Booking is already open online at www.operanorth.co.uk.

The workshop is part of Opera North’s Lifelong Learning work that provides arts activities for adults of all ages. There are plenty of other exciting activities going on, too, so do check out the Opera North website for more information.

The workshop is celebrating the Broadway hit’s return to Leeds Grand Theatre from 23rd-26th May. Get your tickets now!
